Frequently Asked Questions

How do I reset my data?

Go to Settings > Data Management > Delete All Data. This will permanently delete all your tracking data, reflections, and preferences.

How do I change the app language?

Go to Settings > Language and select English or Spanish. The app will immediately switch to your selected language.

How do I enable iCloud backup?

Go to Settings > Data & Backup and turn on iCloud Sync. Your data will sync across all your devices signed into the same iCloud account.

How do I use AI coaching and Deep Analysis?

They are included in the subscription and need no setup — there is nothing to configure and no API key of your own to provide. Requests are routed through our secure proxy to third-party providers (OpenRouter, Groq, Hugging Face), and usage is rate-limited per device for fair access.

Is my data private?

Your entries are stored on your device, and we never sell your personal information or use it for advertising. Two things do leave the device: when you use AI coaching or Deep Analysis, your tracking data — including reflections — is sent to our proxy for processing and is not stored on our servers afterwards; and anonymous crash and usage analytics go to Firebase. If you enable iCloud sync, your data goes to your personal iCloud account, which we cannot access. Read our Privacy Policy for the full detail.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store. Go to iPhone Settings > Your Name > Subscriptions and select Northe to manage or cancel your subscription.

How do I export my data?

Go to Settings > Data Management > Export My Data. Your data will be exported in JSON format, which you can save or share.
